Getting to an event like CEDIA Expo takes teamwork
We’ve got wireless audio products that match the way people live with their mobile devices today. CEDIA Expo is the perfect place to share it with dealers and installers from Canada, the USA and around the world.
In late August we received word that a 20 x 20 booth was available at CEDIA EXPO 2014. Our team agreed that although the timeline was tight, we could absolutely put a booth together in time for the show. Levven was going to Denver!
The booth space that we were offered presented a couple of challenges: two 3’ x 4’ concrete columns. Another big challenge? We didn’t actually have a booth ready. We’d have to start from scratch.
Our marketing team used every minute available to produce a design that I believe will be one of the most compelling, engaging booths at CEDIA.
With little time to produce the materials for the show, however, our friends at Cowan Graphics in Edmonton worked over the weekend prior to the CEDIA Expo to print the banners that will be suspended from the ceiling above our booth. A big thanks to Blaine MacMillan and your team!
Our sales team also worked a couple of weekends prior to the big show putting together the “Try Me!” stations so that people could experience the elegant simplicity of Levven Audio for themselves.
Everything for the booth seemed to be covered. What was left to do…?
Road trip!
We packed all our goods into our newly acquired and rather large shipping crate… only to learn that no freight company would guarantee it would make it to Denver in time for the show. ARGH! So, we did what any committed team would do, we unloaded the crate into a truck and sent two drivers on a road trip to Denver.
James and I took the opportunity to see some of the countryside along the way, stopping in Yellowstone National Park and Steamboat Springs before arriving in Denver.
Upon our arrival, we reached out to our friend Steve at Atlas Cases to provide us with a few cool road cases that we could use to pack our booth into (…also good for our next trade show, the NECA tradeshow in Chicago). Thanks to Steve over at Atlas Cases!
The Freeman people at the Denver Convention Center were amazing, taking our crates off the truck and bringing them right over to our booth. Very helpful of them.
