What You’ll Do: 

  • Negotiate the best prices and administer purchases with suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain materials, components, and equipment as required by the production schedule.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies in conjunction with finance.
  • Enforce quality requirements on vendors.
  • Maintain and monitor the progress of purchase orders to obtain purchase order status updates
  • Take proactive actions to ensure that company quality and delivery requirements are achieved.

What you need to have: 

  • At least 5 years of experience spent as a purchaser in an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Experience dealing with foreign electronics vendors and distributors.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience using an ERP system. MS Dynamics NAV is a plus.
