Customizing your devices is key to managing your smart home efficiently. One of the first steps in organizing your Levven Controls system is naming your devices. Clear, intuitive names can make controlling and identifying your devices easier through the app.
- Locate the device card for the device you wish to rename. Each card represents a specific device connected to your Levven system.
- Tap the arrow on the device card to enter the detailed device page.
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu
- From the menu, select the Settings option.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the Controller Name. This opens a text field where you can input a new name. Enter a name that’s easy to recognize and descriptive.
- Optional: Change the Controller Type if needed.
- Tap the Save button to confirm your changes.
Tips for Naming Devices
1. Be Descriptive: Use names that clearly describe the location or purpose of the device (e.g., “Master Bedroom Light”).
