Interpreting Electrical Plans

See Planning and Preparation for information about reading plans that have Levven markup / redlines.

Controller Group

The power controllers in your Quick Kit are grouped with each other and with the Levven Q Gateway to form the home group. If the installation requires more controllers than what the Quick Kit included, add more controllers to your installation's "home group". See Adding Extra Controllers in the Using Levven Quick Kits guide for a full explanation.

If a Quick Kit has fewer controllers than are needed for your installation, take additional controllers from your shelf stock / spare parts inventory.

Do not take controllers from another kit to make up the difference! Those Quick Kits have already been configured for other installations.

Trimming Junction Boxes

Example: Light fixture mounted on one box, power controller installed in a different box.

Two Controllers in One Junction Box, Controllers Switching Different Loads

Example: Switching a bath exhaust fan AND vanity light with two controllers installed in a separate smoke detector box, with constant power to other boxes (plugs).
